Paradise in Egypt

This hotel is a journey in itself. It’s wonderful here. Don’t change anything in the interior please. Also bathrooms are perfect like they were. The food is really delicious

It is just phenomenal I came back one month later and plan to come back again next month The management and customer service is excellent. The structure is a work of art It’s unique and comfortable and high quality The food is great, breakfast is perfect and what can I say Book it!! Also if you are into organic and eco friendly the products here are excellent

It’s perfect It’s still Egypt so some flies by the pool area and so on, yet they provide you with fly fans!

The place was amazing, the staff is very kind and the swimming pool is huge!

I would add more vans per day that go to the city center (at least 2 in the morning and 2 in the afternoon)

Boutique gem on West Bank

A gorgeous boutique hotel on the west bank. Stunning, thoughtful touches throughout. Well tended grounds, excellent pool area, and unique rooms.

It was reasonably well located for visiting west bank sites; a longer distance to Luxor. Best for those looking to mix relaxation with site seeing.

Disappointing.

I'm glad to say we only booked to stay one night. The waiter for our evening meal was very pleasant / interesting. He was the one and only thing that impressed me.

Pretty much everything. I thought this hotel (to celebrate my wife's 50th) was going to be the highlight of our holiday. It was the least impressive. We were the only guests at the time. I would use the following to describe the place - isolated (there are no amenities close by), largely unkempt gardens, rather contrived decor and hence overpriced.

Staying at Al Moudira transports you to another world. Huge rooms, great staff, wonderful details all around. I only wish I lived closer so I could stay here more often.

Wi-Fi could be available in more areas, but it was good to disconnect.

Elegant and luxurious getaway

A gorgeous luxury hotel with dozens of artistic touches that cannot be underestimated. Every room is unique and enormous. Quiet and peaceful with tinkling fountains and charming gardens and many restful spots to relax. Lovely pool. Fabulous breakfast. Excellent fine dining. The staff was unobtrusive yet very helpful.

Price was a bit high. And I didn’t like that I couldn’t afford to stay longer.

Blissful stay

Ambiance, beauty in the details, nature, birds chirping, cool breeze, great swimming pool, delicious food, menu that changes daily, wonderful airy rooms with high ceilings, great sleep, courteous staff, friendly and kind proprietress, cleanliness, seclusion, ease for arranging tours through front desk.

No free bottle of water, but it makes one appreciate the value of water.

Simply stunning

Al Moudira is one of the most beautiful hotels I have stayed at. The rooms and the grounds are simply stunning. The design, decor, colorful tile paths winding around the courtyards...it has such a nice feel and the location, although a little far from the center of Luxor, is just right for this hotel. After busy days seeing the wonderful sights of Luxor, we loved to come back and relax by the pool and around the courtyard with a glass of cold hibiscus tea. We really wished we could have stayed longer to just enjoy the hotel itself. The staff were all very friendly and professional and we enjoyed chatting with Zeina and other guests. Breakfast was just right and a packed breakfast box was provided when we had one particularly early start. Thank you Zeina and all your staff. We left with such lovely memories and dream of visiting again!

We would have liked some more Egyptian food options on the dinner menu. We enjoyed what was available though and the food and ingredients cannot be faulted.
